It's funny sometimes... when things happen around me that I have no control over. I can literally do nothing for a few days, and ppl can still find ways to try to talk smack about me. Yes its disappointing, thinking you don't have beef with ppl who you thought you were nice with. I really hope they get things striaght with their own lives. I only wish for the best for some ppl. I have spent most of January relaxing, giving myself some time to rest my body from such a hectic 2005. I've already started getting back into routine, gym 3 times a week, work 4 times a week, continue research and having day offs to run errands. I've also managed to have Friday nights off to catch up with friends and go out to eat. It's usally been myself, Phil and Shannon, but we alternate with other folks that come with us as well. We always welcome those that can come out to dinner!
I've become a bit of a couch potato as well, thanks to my sweet HDTV! Best purchase in the last year. I felt like I can spoil myself and I made an excellent choice. Now I have a dvr, so I record a lot of shows that I don't usually watch. Oh and I'm loving anything in High Def. I will be treating myself to the Super Bowl in HD, since I gave myself the day off when I usually would be working on my double sundays. More folks should be getting HDTVs soon, in 3 years those old TVs will have nothing on them since everything will be digital.
I hope to get a new job soon. Thanks to having friends in good places. As I venture more into corporate America, I hope I can get the most I can out of it all. I like having a side job as well. We'll see how it all goes.
Thank you to those friends that still keep in touch. I'm not that hard to find, and I thank those that take the time out to just say hi, or a text message or an email. I make time for those that make time for me.
Oh and Harlie is still awesome.
Podcast of the Moment (I have been listening to podcasts more than music now)
DreamStation.cc Video Game Show - For those into videogames. A funny and short show, great for first time listeners. One of my faves, great community as well with forums and links and websites.
